## 1. Website use
The information provided on our website is intended to help customers learn about our restaurant, menus, offers, events and services.
We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but menus, prices, opening hours, availability, offers and other information may change from time to time.
Nothing on this website affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
## 2. Table reservations
Reservations can be made through our website or by contacting the restaurant.
Please provide accurate contact details when making a booking so that we can contact you if necessary.
A reservation is subject to availability and is confirmed once you receive confirmation from us or through our booking system.
If your plans change, please cancel or amend your reservation as soon as reasonably possible so that we can make the table available to other customers.
If you are significantly late, we cannot guarantee that your table will remain available. If you expect to be delayed, please contact the restaurant.
For larger groups, special occasions or certain dates, additional booking conditions or a deposit may apply. Any such requirements will be made clear before the booking is confirmed.
## 3. Deposits and cancellations
Where a deposit is required, the amount and applicable cancellation terms will be explained when the booking is made.
Any cancellation charge or amount retained from a deposit will be reasonable and reflect the circumstances of the booking and losses resulting from the cancellation.
If Nova Polish Restaurant has to cancel a booking for which you have paid a deposit, the deposit will be refunded unless an alternative arrangement is agreed with you.
## 4. Private functions and events
Enquiries submitted through our website do not by themselves constitute a confirmed booking.
Private functions, large parties and special events may be subject to separate arrangements covering matters such as:
* number of guests;
* menu selection;
* deposits and payment dates;
* cancellation;
* room or area use;
* arrival and finishing times;
* additional services requested.
Where specific terms are agreed for an event, those terms will apply in addition to these Terms & Conditions.
## 5. Menus and prices
We aim to ensure that menus, descriptions and prices shown on our website are accurate.
Menu items, ingredients, prices and availability may change without prior notice because of availability, seasonal changes or other operational reasons.
The prices charged at the restaurant at the time of your visit will apply unless a different price has been specifically agreed in advance.
## 6. Allergies and dietary requirements
If you or anyone in your party has a food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement, please tell us when making your booking and speak to a member of staff before ordering.
We provide allergen information in accordance with applicable UK food law.
Although we take reasonable steps to manage allergens and reduce the risk of cross-contamination, our kitchen handles a range of ingredients and we cannot guarantee that any dish will be completely free from traces of a particular allergen unless we specifically confirm that this can be achieved.
Customers should not rely solely on website descriptions or menu symbols when managing a serious allergy. Please speak directly to our staff so that current allergen information can be checked.
## 7. Alcohol
Alcohol will only be sold or served in accordance with UK licensing law.
We will not knowingly sell or serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Proof of age may be requested where appropriate.
We reserve the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol where required by law or where our staff reasonably consider it necessary.
## 8. Special offers and promotions
Promotions and special offers may have their own eligibility requirements, dates and conditions.
These will be displayed with the relevant offer or made available at the restaurant.
Unless an offer specifically states otherwise:
* offers are subject to availability;
* offers cannot normally be combined with another promotion or discount;
* one promotional offer may be used per meal;
* proof of eligibility may be required for restricted offers, such as student discounts;
* we may amend or withdraw an offer, provided this does not affect an offer already accepted where a binding agreement has been formed.
## 9. Gift vouchers
Nova Polish Restaurant gift vouchers may be used towards eligible purchases at the restaurant subject to the conditions stated when the voucher is issued.
Unless specifically stated otherwise:
* vouchers are valid for 12 months from the applicable issue or activation date;
* vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash;
* vouchers should be treated like cash and should be kept securely;
* lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed vouchers may not be replaceable;
* vouchers cannot be used after their expiry date.
Any additional conditions provided with a voucher will form part of these Terms & Conditions.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
## 10. Customer behaviour
We want all customers and staff to be able to enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.
We may refuse service or ask a person to leave where their behaviour is abusive, threatening, dangerous, seriously disruptive or unlawful.
Nothing in these terms permits discrimination contrary to applicable UK law.
## 11. Website availability and external links
We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites.
## 12. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, branding, photographs, graphics and website materials owned by Nova Polish Restaurant may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission.
This does not apply to content owned by third parties or where use is permitted by law.
## 13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer protection law.
We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when a contract with you was formed or for losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
## 14. Privacy
Personal information provided through our website, booking system or direct contact with the restaurant is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information about what data we collect, how we use it and your rights.
## 15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions when our services, website, policies or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page together with the date it was last updated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter rights or obligations already agreed with a customer unless permitted by law.
## 16. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any rights you have under applicable consumer law regarding where legal proceedings may be brought.
